Hi, everyone!

 

We are happy to welcome you to Ueda where we will be hosting the 5th Student Meeting of Leading Graduate School Programs! This time the student meeting is organized by all students of the Global Leader Program for Fiber Renaissance from Shinshu University.

 

In regard to the last student meetings, we decided to set a new focus, which is how we came up with our title: Understanding People. In this student meeting,  we want to emphasize social leadership. We want to do so by creating an environment, where we are able to discuss matters that people from all kinds of societies are confronted with.

 

As countries all over the world are becoming more international and businesses expand around the globe, we will also be in a position where we are working with people from other cultures. This may be because we live abroad or because we are working together with them within Japan. In both cases, by understanding where the other person is coming, we can improve our teamwork and lead everyone to the best result. This is our goal for this years' workshop!
